These terms govern your purchase of "Dive Theory Decoded" (the "Product"), a digital study guide sold by Maritimio Inc. ("we", "us"), a corporation based in Quebec, Canada. By purchasing, you agree to these terms.
The Product is a downloadable PDF study guide for dive-theory exam preparation. It is delivered digitally; there is no physical item.
The price is shown at checkout in US dollars. Payment and delivery are handled by our checkout provider, Polar, acting as Merchant of Record. Polar is the seller of record for the transaction and is responsible for charging and remitting any applicable sales taxes (such as GST/QST or VAT) based on your location.
Access to the download is provided immediately after successful payment, via the confirmation page and your emailed receipt. Free updates to the guide can be re-downloaded from that same receipt.
We offer a 14-day, no-questions-asked refund. If the Product did not help you, reply to your receipt within 14 days of purchase and we will refund you in full.
On purchase you receive a personal, non-transferable licence to use the Product for your own study. You may not resell, redistribute, share, sublicense, or publicly post the Product or its contents. All intellectual property in the Product remains the property of Jennifer Canty / Maritimio Inc.
Important. The Product is an educational study aid for theory-exam preparation only. It is not a dive-planning tool, not a substitute for certified training under a qualified instructor, and not medical or operational advice.
Always plan and conduct dives using your training, your certifying agency's current standards, and your dive computer or tables. Diving carries inherent risks, including serious injury and death. We are not responsible for how the information is applied outside of exam study. The Product is not affiliated with or endorsed by PADI, SDI/TDI, SSI, NAUI, BSAC, or any certification agency.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the Product is limited to the amount you paid for it. We provide the Product "as is" and make no warranty that it is error-free or fit for any particular purpose beyond general exam study.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec and the federal laws of Canada applicable there. Any dispute will be subject to the courts of Quebec.
